Our client is a leading provider of supply chain solutions in the plastic packaging industry. Due to growth thy are the hunt for a Logistics Manager within their facility in Dudley!

Role and Responsibilities
In this role you will lead and coach the logistics team in working proactively towards maximizing our service-level, customer satisfaction and achieving departmental and personal objectives.

Other responsibilities include:

• Liaise with Third Party sites
• Manage the Transport team to ensure up to 600 transfers per week back to sites
• Translating Supply Chain & Operations and other functional business strategies into operational goals with visible metrics
• Accountability for delivering operational requirements. Setting annual budgets, monitoring and controlling all expenses and operational costs.

Experience or Qualifications

• Proven experience in a previous fast paced logistics manager role
• Expert liaison sills with third party sites and being able to show continuous improvement techniques with them
• Data analysis driven using it to improve on KPIs and examples of how to do so
• Desirable knowledge of the food safety industry and ISO practices that they adhere too

Candidates who currently are a Logistics Manager, Planning & Logistics Manager or Supply Chain Manager may be suitable for this position.
