is working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in the East Midlands. The company designs and manufactures heavy equipment used across a range of industries including construction, infrastructure, and materials processing.

About the role:

As a Storesperson , you ll be responsible for the organisation and the put away of raw materials delivered to site. This will include using a diesel FLT counter balance to move materials around site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the ongoing redevelopment of the site by organising and managing incoming materials
• Receive, identify, and put away various raw materials such as sheet metal, screws, bearings, bolts, etc.
• Operate a diesel Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) to transport materials safely around the site
• Maintain an organised storage system to ensure quick and accurate retrieval of parts and components
• Assist in the movement and distribution of materials to relevant teams (e.g. bolts to assembly/fitting team)
• Use basic engineering knowledge to identify and understand different components (e.g. bearings, fasteners)
• Communicate effectively with team members to meet operational and production requirements

What we re looking for:

• Previous experience in a stores or goods inwards role
• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (diesel)
• A basic understanding of engineering and mechanical components
