Power Press Setter

We are currently recruiting for a Power Press Setter for our client based in Redditch. Immediate starts. Possible permanent position after a successful trial period.

Duties:

• Set up, adjust, and operate power presses (6 160 tonnes), including Bruderer, C-Frame, Chin Fong, Worcester, and Sweeny machines.

• Work with tooling for material thicknesses from 0.2 mm to 4 mm.

• Monitor product quality and complete production records.

• Train and support press operators.

• Follow health and safety regulations.

• Keep the workspace clean and organized.

• Assist with continuous improvement projects.

Requirements:

• Experience in the power press industry.

• ROSPA Certificate.

• Skilled in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).

• Understanding of Lean manufacturing, including 5S and Kaizen.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Hours of Work:

Monday - Thursday

6am - 4.15pm or 7am - 5.15pm.

Rate of pay:

GBP13.00 per hour.
