Mobile Chiller Engineer

Job Title: Mobile Chiller Engineer
Location: Home Counties & National travel as required.
Salary: GBP40,000 - GBP50,000

We re looking for a skilled Mobile Chiller Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, commissioning, and warranty work across commercial and industrial sites. This hands-on role involves servicing chillers, AHUs, close control systems, and other HVAC equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong fault-finding abilities, technical expertise, and a proactive, safety-conscious approach.
Key Responsibilities:

Service and maintain chillers, refrigeration units, AHUs, and air conditioning systems
Perform commissioning and warranty work across a range of HVAC systems
Diagnose faults and provide clear recommendations for repair or improvement
Adhere to RAMS and safety protocols at all times; update documents as needed
Accurately complete digital service reports and maintain CAFM records
Communicate effectively with clients, site managers, and other trades
Keep plant rooms, work areas, and vehicles clean and well-maintained

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong technical knowledge of chillers, AHUs, and refrigeration plant
Familiarity with BMS and close/humidity control systems (desirable)
Excellent understanding of site safety, RAMS, and digital reporting systems
Self-motivated, well-organised, and a clear communicator

Qualifications:

F-Gas
City & Guilds Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
Full UK driving licence required
