Technical Sales - STEEL (manufacturing)

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales candidate for our steel fabricating client who offers metalwork solutions across Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Growth: Grow sales by building relationships with both new & existing clients. Quoting & converting enquiries to orders from one off bespoke jobs to regular contract work. Technical Expertise: Utilise AutoCAD (2D & 3D) to support precision in sheet metal design and fabrication processes. Quality Assurance: Ensure all fabricated components meet client specifications and comply with ISO 9001 and UKCA standards.ABOUT YOU: Experience: Extensive experience in steel fabrication sales, with a strong background in multi-fabrication environments. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD software is essential for this role; previous hands on welding experience advantageous. Operational Efficiency: Proven track record of optimising fabrication processes and equipment utilisation.
