GSL Education are currently recruiting for a committed and passionate Teaching Assistant to work in vibrant primary school settings in Gainsborough . This role is ideal for someone looking to support classroom learning, build relationships with students, and contribute positively to a school community.

Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant , you will work closely with teachers and pupils to support the delivery of high-quality education. Your role will include assisting in lesson preparation, providing targeted support to individuals and groups, and helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom activities under the guidance of the teacher.
• Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning.
• Help manage behaviour positively in line with school expectations.
• Prepare and organise classroom materials and resources.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all learners.

Requirements for Teaching Assistants:

• Hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant experience).
• A positive, patient, and caring approach to supporting children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to support pupils with varied learning needs.
• Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
