Quality Engineer

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is currently seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in Quality Assurance looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic and growing organisation. Key Responsibilities: Development of Management systems and updating and reviewing documents Assist and support the Quality Manager with effective day-to-day Quality Assurance activities Coordinate the logging and resolution of Non-Conformance Reports, ensuring robust corrective actions are established and implemented Assist with Corrective Action Requests and Root Cause Analysis Coordinate the communication of technical files and specifications Coordinate the recording of site-based reworks and product orders Promote QESH principles and a customer focus throughout the company Follow through on quality actions to ensure closure Job Requirements: Experience as a systems-based Quality Engineer Manufacturing-based experience essential Experience in process development and improvement Previous involvement in third-party audits Full UK Driving License, preferably clean Understanding of ISO 9001 (ISO 14001 an advantage) Competent in all aspects of Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Internal auditor training to ISO 9001 or higher is advantageous Benefits: Hybrid/Reading Office/On-site working options Standard hours: 7.30am - 16.30 Mon - Fri 24 days holiday + Bank Holidays Opportunity for professional development and training Supportive and collaborative work environment If you are an experienced Quality Engineer eager to further develop your career in manufacturing, we would love to hear from you.
