Salary: Up to GBP110 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a motivated and dependable Cover Supervisor to join our vibrant schools in the Rotherham area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for working with young people and a desire to gain valuable classroom experience.

Role Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor , you will manage classroom activities during teacher absences, ensuring a focused and respectful learning environment. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity in education and supporting pupils to stay engaged with their learning.

Key Responsibilities of Cover Supervisor:

• Deliver pre-set lesson materials across a variety of subjects.
• Supervise students and promote positive behaviour.
• Assist pupils in understanding tasks when necessary.
• Record and report any incidents or academic progress.
• Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working with young people or in an educational setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to adapt to different classrooms and situations.
• A proactive and reliable approach to school support.
• Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
