HGV Class 1 & 2 Driver

HGV Class 1 Drivers and HGV class 2 drivers

Turbo Driving are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (minimum 6 months experience) and HGV class 2 drivers to join a growing transport and logistics team

Start times from 13.30pm - 15.45pm - no Sunday working

Assessments before commencement of shifts then once passed you will be given an Immediate start.

HGV Class 1 and HGV class 2 driver experience needed (min 6 months class 1 experience)

Rates:

Class 2

Days: GBP14.11 + holidays

Nights:GBP15.80 + holidays

Class 1

Days: GBP15.94 + holidays

Nights: GBP17.31 + holidays

Full time/part time and any shift pattern that you can work will be considered.

The role:

As an HGV class 2 driver, you will:

self load and self tip

palletised stock

Deliver to other smaller depots known as local delivery units (LDU)

approx. 3-4 drops per shift

use a pump truck and tail lift

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will:

Trunk/Trailer swap with goods across regional/national routes

No interaction with the load

Conduct pre- and post-route vehicle checks and record via app

Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies

Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods

About you:

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, and HGV class 2 driver you will have:

A valid UK Category C+E driving license

Up-to-date CPC and Digi-tacho cards

Max 6 points (no CD/IN/TT/DR)

Knowledge of driving regulations and compliance

A professional and customer-focused approach
