Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:

• Design and detailing of bespoke and standard equipment/systems ensuring quality standards/procedures are met
• Control panel design using AutoCAD Electrical
• Evaluating customer requirements and developing into project plans
• Interface with manufacturing departments to ensure project delivery
• Interfacing with customers and suppliers to provide technical support
• Research and development
• Occasional travel to support customers

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:

• Minimum HNC qualified within an Electrical/Electronic discipline
• Experience in Autocad Electrical will be advantageous but not essential
• Experience of process automation highly desirable
• Experience in a similar role with proven success
• Knowledge of BS 7671 (wiring regulations) and BS EN 60204 (machine safety)
• Experience of testing control panels/systems
• Attention to detail is vital to ensure project accuracy
• Capable of working well within a team or off own initiative

Located in Manchester, this role would be commutable from Rochdale, Bolton, Oldham, Huddersfield, Blackburn and surrounding areas.
