Finishing Foreman (Residential)

Finishing Foreman West Dublin €60-65k + Bonus, Healthcare, Pension + Package Finishing Foreman required for reputable developer who is currently undertaking a large residential project in West Dublin. Role • Take ownership of on-site health and safety, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with regulations. • Report on progress weekly, and proactively address any delays to keep the project on track. • Subcontractor Coordination: Manage and coordinate subcontractors and service providers to meet project milestones, including testing and commissioning. • Quality Assurance: Carry out continuous inspections of on-site works, resolving issues promptly to maintain quality and momentum. • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure inductions, sign-off sheets. • Snagging & Handover: Lead and manage snagging teams to achieve efficient, high-quality unit handovers. Maintain and close out the snag list in coordination with subcontractors. • Labour & Material Tracking: Complete daily allocation sheets to track site labour and material usage. • Unit Management: Take ownership of each unit from plastering/skimming through 2nd and 3rd fix, snagging, and final handover. Key Responsibilities:Qualifications & Experience: • 5+ years of experience as a Finishing Foreman within the construction sector • Relevant trade qualifications or technical certification in construction, carpentry, or a related field • Thorough understanding of construction processes, with a strong focus on the final stages of project delivery, including fit-outs and finishes • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specs.
