Site Manager

Connect Appointments are recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious Livingston based manufacturing clients. With over five decades of experience, our client is known for producing high-quality display cases for global institutions, private collectors, royal families, and more.

We're looking for a Site Manager to take a hands-on leadership role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-spec installation projects around the world. Based from the company's Livingston office, this role will involve UK and international travel, spending approximately 70% of your time on client sites.

Working as a Site Manager , your duties will include:

• Leading installation teams on high-profile projects across the UK and overseas
• Planning and managing site labour, materials, equipment, and costs to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
• Conducting site visits, producing build and logistics plans, and identifying potential risks
• Coordinating with internal teams and third-party suppliers, logistics providers, and clients
• Overseeing all health, safety, quality, and compliance documentation and reporting
• Supervising subcontractors and in-house staff to maintain high-quality workmanship
• Collaborating with departments including project management, design, and manufacturing
• Providing coaching, mentoring, and training to site personnel

To be successful in this Site Manager role , we're looking for someone with proven experience managing installation or construction sites. Combined with the following skills, traits and experience:

• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel internationally
• Health & Safety knowledge, including COSHH regulations
• Skilled in site documentation, client liaison, and subcontractor management
• IT literate - comfortable using Microsoft Office applications
