SANZA Teaching Agency is proud to be supporting some excellent primary schools in Havering. As such, we are seeking fun and creative teaching assistants for a range of exciting roles across these schools.

More information:

As a dedicated teaching assistant, you will be required to provide 1:1 support to key children with additional needs. We are looking for teaching assistants to support a variety of students in different roles that vary from year 1 to year 6.

Key Responsibilities:

• Play a key role in helping young learners access the curriculum and thrive in the school environment
• Support their communication, social development, and daily classroom engagement
• Support with fostering independence and confidence
• Provide tailored, 1:1 support for learners with Autism
• Encourage positive social interaction and inclusion within the classroom setting
• Build strong, supportive relationships with the pupil and maintain effective communication with their parents/carers

About You:

• Previous experience as a teaching assistant in a primary setting
• Previous experience supporting primary aged children with additional needs (ideally Autism)
• Confident in using behaviour management techniques, with the ability to adapt to individual needs
• Compassionate, patient, and genuinely committed to supporting children with additional needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
