We are working with a specialist SEN school in Stanwell Moor who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant and supportive team. This is a post-16 setting, catering to students with a range of learning difficulties and additional needs, focused on developing real-world skills and confidence for adulthood.

About the Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support learners aged with their educational, social, and emotional development
• Assist students in developing employability skills, independence, and personal growth
• Work closely with class teachers and SEN professionals to create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Support practical and vocational learning both inside and outside of the classroom
• Help deliver personalised learning programmes and contribute to progress tracking
• Provide pastoral support and help build students' self-esteem and confidence

About You:

• Previous experience working with young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)
• A calm, patient, and flexible approach to working with students with varying needs
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• A genuine passion for supporting learners with additional needs in their journey to independence
• Willingness to support personal care, where required
