Site Manager

Our client, a specialist contractor within the construction industry, is seeking an experienced Site Manager with a background in dry-lining to join their team on a long-term basis. With a growing pipeline of nationwide work, the company offers a supportive environment and carefully considers travel and location when assigning projects, promoting work-life balance and sustainability.

The successful candidate's first assignment will be to manage a dry-lining project in Harrogate , due to commence in three weeks. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing business with a strong focus on quality and team culture.

• Salary: GBP45,000 - GBP55,000

Site Manager - Role Overview

• Manage and oversee dry-lining works and subcontractors on active sites
• Ensure work is completed on time, to budget, and in line with safety and quality standards
• Liaise with project teams, clients, and operatives to ensure smooth site operation
• Maintain and update daily records, reports, and progress updates using provided tech
• Coordinate materials, deliveries, and workforce requirements
• Enforce and adhere to all health & safety procedures and risk assessments
• Lead on-site meetings and toolbox talks where required

Site Manager - Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in dry-lining or interior fit-out projects
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Ability to manage subcontractors and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Competent with digital reporting tools (tablet/iPad/laptop use)
• Valid SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid at Work (preferred)
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel when required, but ideally based within reach of Harrogate for initial project
