Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location: South Manchester including Didsbury, Chorlton, Withington, Fallowfield, Wythenshawe, and surrounding
Pay Rate: GBP90 GBP100 per day (PAYE or Umbrella)

About the Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you ll work alongside teachers to support learning and behaviour in the classroom. You ll work with individuals and small groups including pupils with additional needs helping to make lessons inclusive, engaging, and effective.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting teachers in the delivery of lessons across the curriculum
• Working 1:1 or in small groups with children who need extra support
• Assisting with classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Encouraging pupil progress and confidence
• Acting as a positive role model at all times

Who We re Looking For

We re seeking graduates who are:

• Passionate about education and making a difference in children's lives
• Great communicators with a positive, proactive attitude
• Keen to gain experience before starting teacher training
• Experienced with children or young people (e.g. in schools, tutoring, camps, mentoring, etc.)
• Confident managing behaviour in a primary school setting
• Open to supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
