Field Resource Controller

Location: Broughton Astley (Onsite 5x days per week)

Rate: GBP190 per day

Length: 11 months

The Field Resource Controller will assist in scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring field operatives to ensure timely and effective deployment as well as contacting and liaising with end-users. This role requires strong organisational skills, clear cross-functional communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Scheduling & Dispatch:

• Call end-customer sites to both arrange and confirm scheduled visits.
• Maintain and drive schedules for field operatives.
• Allocate jobs to available field operatives with consideration to capacity and location.
• Communicate job details clearly and accurately to field operatives.
• Respond to incoming requests for service from field operatives and end-customers and update schedules accordingly.

Monitoring & Communication:

• Act as a primary point of contact for field operatives and end-customers, providing support and information and act as escalation point.
• Supervise team consisting of Field Operatives and Scheduling Coordinators
• Monitor the progress of ongoing jobs and update relevant systems.
• Proactively identify, capture and report any potential delays, issues, or discrepancies.
• Ability to liaise across multiple departments and teams.

Administrative Support:

• Accurately validate call de-briefing data and manage call closures accordingly within the toolset.
• Assist in preparing reports on field activity, job completion rates, and other key metrics.
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned to support the field operations team.
• Interact with clients to confirm appointment details or provide basic updates, under supervision.
