Wolviston Management Services are proud to be supporting a major client in the recruitment of an experienced Electrical Craftsperson to join their established Engineering team at a large-scale, heavy industrial facility in Teesside.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Craft Team Member to work in a highly automated and mechanically advanced environment. You ll be responsible for delivering safe, efficient electrical maintenance across a range of plant and machinery ensuring asset reliability and operational effectiveness.
Working as part of a collaborative engineering team, you ll report directly to the Shift Engineering Team Leader and support both proactive maintenance activities and reactive response to breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine and reactive electrical maintenance tasks to support operational uptime.
Assist with breakdown recovery, inspections, and repair works.
Ensure compliance with all site safety requirements and statutory regulations.
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work closely with Day Engineering and Manufacturing teams to deliver planned maintenance programmes.
Use modern maintenance systems and digital tools (e.g., SAP) to log and track tasks.
What We re Looking For
We re seeking a highly motivated and qualified Electrical Craftsperson who can demonstrate:
A recognised apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (essential).
Relevant qualifications City & Guilds, BTEC, ONC/HNC, or NVQ Level 3 (certificate evidence required).
Strong hands-on experience in heavy industrial electrical systems and maintenance.
Familiarity with permit systems, isolation procedures, and safety legislation.
A team-oriented approach, with flexibility and strong communication skills.
Good timekeeping and a proactive attitude to work.
