Contract Type: Temporary ongoing
Hours: 07:00 - 1530 Monday - Thursday and 07:00 - 12:30 on Friday
Pay Rate: 14.05 p/h

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Three Phase Product Tester to join our client's manufacturing and testing team. This position is crucial in ensuring the quality, performance, and safety of three-phase electrical products before they are released for distribution. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, experience with high-voltage testing equipment, and a methodical approach to fault-finding and inspection.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive functional and safety tests on three-phase electrical products in accordance with company and industry standards.
• Verify electrical continuity, insulation resistance, and earth bond compliance.
• Identify and report faults or non-conformities found during the testing process.
• Complete and maintain accurate records of all test results, using appropriate documentation systems.
• Work closely with the engineering and production teams to address any issues and improve product quality.
• Follow strict health and safety guidelines while working with high-voltage systems.
• Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained in good working order.
• Assist with the development and improvement of test procedures where necessary

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a product testing or electrical inspection role, ideally involving three-phase systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety, test procedures, and fault diagnostics.
• Able to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as insulation resistance testers, continuity testers, and multimeters.
