Title: Qualified Electrician
Location: Skelmersdale (WN5 7XB)
Salary: 35,000 - 38,000 per annum + Overtime + Bonus Scheme + On-Call
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Our client , a well-established and growing electrical contractor based in Skelmersdale , is looking to recruit an experienced Qualified Electrician on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week , with opportunities for regular overtime and participation in an on-call rota .

This role involves carrying out a variety of electrical works across occupied and void domestic properties , with a focus on EICR inspection and testing as well as associated remedial works .

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out EICR inspection, testing, and related remedial work.
• Work independently in domestic environments, diagnosing and resolving faults.
• Complete NICEIC certification to required standards.
• Use company-provided PDA to update job history.
• Adhere to Health & Safety, Equality, and Company Performance Policies.
• Deliver excellent customer service and communication.
• Be flexible with scheduling, including possible overtime and on-call work.

Requirements:

• City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
• City & Guilds 2394/2395 (formerly 2391) preferred but not essential.
• Experience in domestic installations and testing is essential.
• Must be able to complete NICEIC certification .
• Asbestos Awareness training
• ECS Card preferred (qualification required to gain one as a minimum).
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Must own full tool kit and associated drills .

Salary & Benefits:

• Basic Salary: 35,000 - 38,000 (approx. 18.00/hr)
