About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Branch Manager to lead our Bristol electrical wholesale operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader to drive business growth, manage a dedicated team, and build strong relationships within the electrical trade community.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management

- Lead, motivate and develop a team of sales advisors and warehouse operatives

- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training programmes

- Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained across all touchpoints

- Manage staff rotas, holiday planning, and daily operational requirements

Sales & Business Development

- Drive branch sales performance and achieve monthly/quarterly targets

- Develop and maintain relationships with electrical contractors, installers, and trade customers

- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base

- Implement promotional campaigns and seasonal sales initiatives

Operations & Stock Management

- Oversee daily branch operations including stock control and inventory management

- Ensure accurate stock levels and minimise shrinkage

- Coordinate deliveries and manage supplier relationships

- Maintain health & safety compliance and company standards

Financial Management

- Monitor branch P&L performance and implement cost control measures

- Manage credit control procedures and customer payment terms

- Prepare regular sales reports and business performance analysis

Essential Requirements

- Minimum 3-5 years management experience within electrical wholesale or similar trade environment

- Strong knowledge of electrical products, cables, lighting, and associated accessories

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing branch profitability

- Excellent leadership and people management skills

- Strong commercial acumen with experience in B2B sales

- Full UK driving licence

- Previous experience with electrical contractors and trade customers
