7.5 Tonne Driver (ADR)

We are seeking an experienced ADR driver for a client based in Telford. Suitable candidates must have experience driving a 7.5 tonne lorry and a valid ADR licence. In addition a FLT Counterbalance licence is advantageous but not essential. Candidates will need to have some flexibility with hours due to company demands.

Duties to include:

• Manually load, drive and unload the vehicle
• Maintain accurate and timely vehicle records and tachograph charts as required by legislation
• Operate a forklift truck safely
• Maintain the vehicle in a clean and safe condition and report any defects
• Provide efficient and courteous image for the Company and its services
• Utilise IT systems to aid with route planning, personal safety and professional and effective delivery systems.
• Deliver goods promptly and cost effectively, ensuring the accuracy of each delivery against the delivery advice note and by using the most economic route in the order of priority of each delivery as instructed.

Please not that there will be some heavy lifting involved due to the nature of the product supplied.
