Cell Process Engineer (Formulation)

A fast growing next-generation battery developer focusing on lithium-sulfur batteries is currently hiring a Cell Process Engineer (Formulation). The successful candidate will ensure that technical processes and procedures are running smoothly and efficiently.

The Cell Process Engineer (Formulation) will:

• Develop electrode coatings using proprietary materials, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the team to align work plans, timelines, and deliverables with overall project goals.
• Provide daily support to the CTO, assisting with technical decisions and project coordination.
• Conduct tests and analyse results to optimize electrode coating processes.
• Keep up with industry trends to ensure the latest advancements are considered in development.

The Cell Process Engineer (Formulation) will have:

• Degree qualification minimum. Engineering, chemistry, material science or similar.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proven experience in electrode and slurry formulation, essential for success in this role.
• 2+ years of industrial slurry, mixing, formulations development ideally within battery technology.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, managing ambiguity and adapting to evolving priorities.
