Gas Service Engineer

Example Recruitment Group is currently working with a well-established national heating contractor specialising in the local authority sector. They are currently seeking a qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to cover the Glossop/High Peaks area. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, minor repairs, and maintenance within domestic social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR) and minor heating repairs
• Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring tenants receive excellent care
• Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years experience with gas qualifications
• Extensive experience in servicing both boilers and gas appliances
• In-date ACS qualifications, including CKR1 & HTR1
• Full UK driving licence
• No unspent criminal convictions (DBS check to be carried out upon offer of employment)

Salary & Benefits:

• 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

• Salary: GBP27,289.60 per year plus pricework
