Packing Operative

Wise Employment are seeking Packing/Production Operatives to start on a temporary basis in Paignton, Devon.

As a Packing Operative you will carry out core activities including; working within a team processing, inspecting, labelling, packing, sterilising and storing products in compliance with all manufacturing SOP s (Standard Operating Procedures)

Hours: Monday - Friday pm working 37.5hrs per week.

Location : Paignton, Devon. United Kingdom. Ongoing, temporary position.

Hourly Pay rate: Monday to Friday GBP12.21 per hour

Key Skills :

• Good dexterity, cleaning and concentration skills.
• Previous Packaging, warehouse, production, labelling experience is preferred
• Knowledge within Batch Packing is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand and write English well.
• Good understanding of COSHH and Health and Safety protocols.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Work well within a team.
• Due to the nature of the business and PPE you will be required to wear, there will be relevant Health questions prior we must ask before we can proceed with your application.

Day to Day Duties :

• Ensuring all rooms and sterile stations are kept immaculate.
• Building boxes ready for packing.
• Batch packing of products
• Accurate labelling and inspection of products
• Ensure all company policies surrounding stock, health & safety, quality requirements and housekeeping are met and improved upon as identified.
