Carpenters Required

Overview
We are seeking skilled carpenters. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, and finishing work. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools.
• Assemble and install structures such as frameworks, floors, and door frames.
• Ensure all work is plumb and level according to specifications.
• Perform masonry tasks as required for specific projects.
• Carry out heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
• Conduct repairs on existing structures including roofs and walls.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including electrical workers when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
• Paint surfaces as needed to complete projects to a high standard.
• Fabricate custom pieces as required by project specifications.

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry work.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction sites.
