HGV Class 2 Driver

Head Hunted Recruitment are working with an award winning business who are one of the largest in their sector and boasting a strong market presence, the company are in the process of hiring an experienced and driven HGV Class 2 Driver to join their expanding distribution team.

The successful HGV Class 2 Driver will help provide a professional, efficient and accurate service to our Trade and Retail Customers. As HGV Class 2 Driver you will make deliveries in an accurate and timely fashion to customers and suppliers. Flexibility is required on the start time to accommodate Customer requirements and traffic conditions.

The ideal candidate will have previous HGV Class 2 Driving experience and evidence of CPC training will be required. Experience of multi-drop delivery would be an advantage.

HGV Class 2 Driver Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver goods to various locations.
• Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and handle paperwork as required.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods.
• Ensure driving hours are adhered to

HGV Class 2 Diver Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 driving license.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver.
• Ability to start early in the morning (early starts required).
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills and a positive can-do attitude.
