Location: Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire
Contract Type: Permanent (32.5 hours per week, Term Time + 4 Teacher Training Days)
Salary: 26,409 Annually (FTE), Monday to Friday. This is a TERM TIME position including 4 additional Training Days, so the salary will be pro rated to reflect this
Start Date: September 2025

Here at Academics we are seeking to appoint a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a 1 form entry primary school, with a welcoming and supportive team in Houghton Regis.

This is a Church of England school who would welcome applications from someone who has or is working towards an HLTA Level 4 qualification.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is positive, flexible, and passionate about helping young children thrive
• Holds a Level 4 qualification related to teaching and learning (or is working towards a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification)
• Has experience working in a school setting, ideally in a Higher Level Teaching Assistant capacity
• Understands how to adapt their practice to meet the needs of individual learners
• Works effectively as part of a team and is committed to high standards of teaching and learning
• Can commute to Houghton Regis
