Accounts Assistant


An established European company is seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join their growing UK team, based at their site in Rougham, Suffolk. This family-owned business operates across Europe and has recently expanded into the UK market. As part of a small, friendly team, you will play a key role in supporting the Head of Finance and ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain the central invoice register • Monitor and manage the finance inbox • Raise sales invoices accurately and on time • Perform data entry and assist with credit control • Record and allocate incoming payments • Carry out account reconciliations • Liaise with customers and suppliers via phone and email • Provide general administrative support, including occasional reception cover About You: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a finance or accounts administration role • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail • Confident communicator with a professional and friendly telephone manner • Competent IT user, particularly with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) • Numerate, literate, and able to manage workload effectively • Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn If you're looking for a stable, supportive working environment within a well-established international business, we'd love to hear from you
