Company Overview: We are working on behalf of a respected MEP contractor with a strong track record delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical, and plumbing packages across a range of sectors — including residential, commercial, healthcare, and industrial projects. Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in MEP to join the team and support the successful delivery of projects across [Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex, London]. Key Responsibilities: * Manage the commercial aspects of MEP packages from procurement through to final accounts * Prepare and submit interim valuations and applications for payment * Conduct cost analysis, risk management, and value engineering * Measure and value works in accordance with contract requirements * Review subcontractor packages, orders, and variations * Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate reporting * Assist with procurement of subcontractors and materials * Monitor and control project budgets, cash flow and cost forecasting * Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions Requirements: * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within MEP/building services * Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (domestic and commercial) * Familiarity with NEC or JCT contracts * Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills * IT literate (Excel, project software, estimating tools, etc.) * Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline) Desirable: * Experience with high-value or complex building services projects * Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team * Local knowledge of suppliers/subcontractors in [Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex, London
