Process Operative

Our client based on the outskirts of Lincoln is looking for a Process Operative. In the role of Process Operative, you will be responsible for the processing via milling and extrusion, drying and coating. You will ensure this done to the required finished standard and as effectively as possible.

Key Duties of Process Operative:

• Running a mill including loading bulk and hand added materials for grinding and transfer to extrusion incl. all necessary technical checks and recording
• Running the extruder, dryer, coater cooler and bulk storage incl. all necessary technical checks and recording
• Capture, segregation, and transfer of waste for rework
• Clean as you go, and wider site cleaning as and when required

Requirements of Process Operative:

• Manufacturing background (Food Production is advantageous)
• Awareness of BRC and Food Safety
• IOSH Working Safely
• Can do attitude
• Team player
• Open to change and willing to learn

Pay is 14.46 per hour.

Hours are on a 5-day shift pattern working days (6am to 6pm) and nights (6pm to 6am). Will be moving to a 4 on 4 off shift pattern later in the year.

Own Transport required due to location.
