Job Title: Road Freight Forwarder - European Trade Lanes Location: Dublin, Ireland Salary: €40,000 - €45,000 (DOE) We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics provider for an experienced Road Freight Forwarder to join their Dublin-based operations team. Completive holiday allowance The Role: As a Road Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of international road freight movements, ensuring all shipments are planned efficiently and delivered on time and in full. You'll take ownership of the planning process across key European routes, ensuring that each leg of the journey - from pickup to final delivery - runs seamlessly. Key Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate full-load and groupage road freight movements across Europe. Manage the complete door-to-door operation, including collection, transit, customs (where applicable), and delivery. Maintain strong communication with hauliers, partners, and internal stakeholders. Monitor schedules, respond to delays, and implement contingency plans as required. Ensure compliance with all transport regulations and documentation standards. Identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.Requirements: Proven experience in road freight forwarding or transport operations, ideally within a European context. In-depth knowledge of European trade lanes and associated transit times. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
