This is an exciting opportunity for a professionally driven Optometrist to join a forward-thinking practice with a highly experienced owner. The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and has four modern test rooms in a prime location. They are offering a competitive salary of GBP50,000 to GBP65,000 (depending on experience) along with a strong bonus scheme and a comprehensive benefits package.

Optometrist Position

This is a full-time opportunity with a market-leading optician in the Stafford area. The practice is located in a busy, high-footfall location with a well-established customer base consisting of a mix of private and NHS patients. Known for its strong reputation in the local community, the practice has an excellent staff retention record, which reflects the supportive and collaborative working environment.

You will be working sociable hours - five days out of six , with NO SUNDAYS - giving you a balanced work-life schedule. Part-time applicants will also be considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

• Conduct comprehensive eye tests to a high clinical standard.
• Provide contact lens consultations and fittings.
• Make tailored recommendations to patients and hand over to the support team for dispensing and follow-up care.
• Work closely with the team to deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements of the Optometrist

• Open to both newly qualified and experienced Optometrists.
• Experience working in a busy practice environment with strong commercial awareness is desirable.
• MECs accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential.
• A friendly, professional demeanour with a strong personal work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.

Compensation for the Optometrist

• Competitive salary between GBP50,000 and GBP65,000 (depending on experience).
