Job Title: Injection moulding Technician

Location: St Austell, Cornwall

Pay- DOE as follows:

Days GBP14.81 to GBP16.36 Per Hour

Nights GBP15.51 to GBP17.16 Per Hour

Our client is a growing manufacturer that are based in St Austell, Cornwall and are a leading manufacturer of plastic products, supplying medical products.

Currently looking for a hardworking enthusiastic individual to join their growing production team on a rotational shift. The role is for a skilled injection moulding technician and would be suitable for someone who has had past experience in a similar role.

Job Responsibilities

• Change over tools and trialling any new jobs
• Optimising efficiency of the other jobs and resolving any issues relating to production in a timely manner
• Monitor the quality of the moulds to ensure they comply with regular quality checks and minimise the amount of moulds sent to scrap
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and ensure that 5S is followed throughout the manufacturing
• Laising with production planners in regards to any problems that occur and assisting where possible with any amendments / repair

• Inputting settings to correctly set the tools for production
• Ensuring the continuous running of the machines
• Changing of tools from start to finish
• Learning the machine/ moulds different robot positions
• Process of material into the mould/ feed system

• Job Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar job role.
• Must have a significant number of years as an injection moulding technician
• Working knowledge of different plastic materials.
• Must have a Can do attitude.
• Be hardworking and have an excellent work ethic.

Hours: 4 on 4 off - rotating days and nights

7:30am 19:30pm

19:30pm 7:30am
