Job Description: Complex Carer Role Overview As a Complex Carer, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care for individuals with complex health needs, supporting dignity, comfort, safety, and independence. The role includes care management for multiple clinical requirements Experience in complex care or clinical support (desirable). Confidence and competence working with: - Tracheostomy - Ventilation and oxygen therapy - Suctioning and cough assist - PEG feeding and NG tube - bowel management - Seizure support --- Key Responsibilities * Deliver complex care in line with the individual’s care plan, risk assessments, and agreed outcomes. * Support individuals with respiratory care, including: - * Ventilation - Oxygen therapy - Tracheostomy care * Suctioning (including airway clearance) * Cough assist * PEG feeding - NG tube feeding (as required) * Bowel management * Catheter care * spinal injury, including recognising and responding to autonomic dysreflexia
