HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Driver Location: NR6 Hellesdon Start Date: ASAP Shift Time: 09:00 AM Start - Finish (Also negotiable) Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour (Days) | £18.25 per hour (Nights) Contract Type: Temp to Perm Duration: Ongoing Role Overview We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers for our client based in the NR6. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers seeking ongoing work with the potential for a permanent position. The role involves multi-drop deliveries, ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time to customers across designated routes. Key Responsibilities Complete approximately 7-8 deliveries per day Ensure all deliveries are made safely and within scheduled time frames Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues Follow all road transport legislation and health & safety procedures Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records Provide excellent customer service at all delivery locations Represent the company in a professional manner at all times Requirements Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Category C) Licence Minimum 6 month's HGV driving experience Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card Valid Digital Tachograph Card No more than 6 penalty points on licence No major endorsements (DD, DR, IN, CD or TT codes) Good knowledge of UK driving regulations and compliance requirements Strong work ethic with a reliable and flexible approach Benefits Competitive hourly rates Ongoing work with the opportunity for a permanent contract Immediate starts available Weekly pay Supportive transport team and well-maintained fleet Interested?
