Engineering Manager Bank, City of London £75,000 - £80,000 Fantastic opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join a leading Building Services Maintenance Provider on a flagship contract by Bank, City of London. An excellent role offering all the opportunists to learn and progress within the business. Working on a large commercial property, the Engineering Manager will be overseeing the day to day delivery of mechanical and electrical services, managing a team of Day and Shift Engineers, providing technical support and managing any projects and extra works on site. Engineering Manager Duties: Manage and Lead a Team of Engineers providing technical support and training. Oversee maintenance plans ensuring corrective / repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations. Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods. Managing KPI and SLA's. Technical support for both the client and the engineering team Responsible for managing the company's quality procedures on site Management of client relationships on a daily basis. Dealing with client's requirements including additional projects / works Recruitment  Organising and managing subcontractors Develop staff, annual appraisals etc Manage staff absenteeism and be responsible for disciplinary issues Responsible for the permit system. Responsible for managing the company's H&S and environmental performance on the contract. Reporting to Regional Director Engineering Manager Requirements: Technically qualified - Apprenticeship, City & Guilds or industry recognised qualifications in Electrical Installations / Mechanical Engineering / Air Conditioning / HVAC Experience in managing contracts / engineering maintenance teams in a financial, data centre or critical environment Personable with good people skills, with the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
