Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Location: Trentham Lakes, Staffordshire Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £35,000 – £48,000 DOE Interaction Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a well-established and reputable automotive workshop to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic. The Role As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing, repairs and diagnostics across a range of passenger and light commercial vehicles. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs Diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment Perform MOT testing where qualified Complete warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards Conduct Vehicle Health Checks and ensure accurate documentation is completed Work collaboratively with workshop colleagues to meet productivity and quality targets Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service Working Hours Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00 Overtime available on an ad hoc basis Saturday mornings on a rota when required Candidate Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Full UK Driving Licence Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Confident communicator and effective team player Reliable, punctual and committed to delivering high-quality work Salary and Benefits Competitive salary of £35,000 – £48,000 depending on experience Performance-related bonus scheme Company pension Ongoing training and upskilling opportunities Clear career progression pathways Employee recognition and wellbeing support Additional Information Applicants must have the right to work in the UK This is a site-based role located in Trentham Lakes References may be requested during the recruitment process If you are an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for your next opportunity, please apply today through Interaction Recruitment.
