We’re working with a well-established UK building services provider to recruit an experienced Senior Contract Manager. This role focuses on overseeing a major contract, ensuring all services are delivered in line with agreed standards, budgets, and compliance requirements. You’ll be responsible for managing engineering teams, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining effective day-to-day operations across the site. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering team, driving performance and engagement. - Ensure all services are delivered in line with contractual, statutory, and client requirements. - Take full responsibility for contract P&L and financial performance. - Manage contractors and suppliers to ensure quality, compliance, and value for money. - Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main escalation point. - Ensure compliance with all health & safety and QSHE standards. - Oversee planned, reactive, and minor works, ensuring best practice processes are followed. - Use CAFM systems to track performance and produce monthly reports. - Support contract renewals and identify opportunities for improvement and growth. - Collaborate with internal teams across operations, finance, and commercial functions. - Manage on-boarding, training, performance reviews, and employee relations. - Monitor aged debt and work with stakeholders to resolve payment issues. - Identify and support new business and organic growth opportunities. Essential Skills & Experience: - Minimum 5 years’ experience in contract management. - Experience managing complex or critical infrastructure environments. - Strong leadership and team management capability. - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. - Good understanding of industry standards and compliance. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and associated systems.
