HGV Class 2 Grab Driver 📍 Tyseley, Birmingham (B11) 💰 £16.97 per hour PAYE or £22.00 per hour CIS ⏰ 40 hours per week + Overtime Available 📅 Start Date: 22/06/2026 📆 Min 12-Month Assignment We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Grab Driver to join a major civil engineering and infrastructure project in the West Midlands. This is a great opportunity for a skilled driver with grab lorry experience to secure long-term work with excellent rates and overtime opportunities. The Role * Operating an HGV Class 2 grab lorry on construction and infrastructure sites * Loading, transporting, and unloading materials safely and efficiently * Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks * Ensuring compliance with all road transport and site safety regulations * Working across multiple sites throughout the West Midlands Essential Requirements * Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence * Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) * Digital Tachograph Card * Grab Loader / HIAB Certification (ALLMI or NPORS preferred) * CSCS Card Preferred Experience * Minimum 1 year experience operating grab lorries * Strong understanding of road safety and transport regulations * Good communication and teamwork skills * Emergency First Aid at Work (desirable) * Flexibility to travel between sites and work away from home if required What’s on Offer * £16.97 per hour PAYE or £22.00 per hour CIS * Overtime paid at 1.33x rate after 8 hours and weekends * Long-term 12-month assignment * Opportunity to work on major infrastructure projects * Immediate start available If you are an experienced Grab Driver with the required qualifications, apply today with your up-to-date CV
