Quantity Surveyor Location: Northamptonshire (office and site-based) Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience) Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm About the Role A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Quantity Surveyor to join a successful and growing construction business. Working across residential groundworks projects, you will support the commercial management of projects from inception through to completion. This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career within a supportive commercial team and gain exposure across multiple projects. The role will involve a combination of office-based and site-based working. Key Responsibilities * Supporting the commercial management of projects * Preparing valuations, cost reports and forecasts * Assisting with procurement and subcontractor management * Managing project costs and identifying commercial opportunities * Working closely with site teams and senior management * Supporting the successful delivery of projects Requirements * Experience working on residential groundworks projects, ideally within a subcontractor environment * Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification (e.g. HNC Quantity Surveying) * Valid CSCS card * Full UK driving licence * Experience working across multiple projects * Good communication and commercial skills Package & Benefits * Company car and fuel card or car allowance (£840 per month) * 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays * Additional annual leave increases with length of service * Employee Assistance Programme * Health and wellbeing contribution * Long service rewards * Option to buy/sell annual leave * Pension contribution scheme * Company bonus scheme This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a forward-thinking business with excellent career progression opportunities
