Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Technician – Nuclear Outage Project UAE Contract Assignment | Nuclear Outage Project | 2026 We are currently seeking experienced Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Technicians to support a major nuclear outage project in the UAE. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled I&C professionals with proven nuclear outage experience to join a critical maintenance team within a world-class nuclear power generation environment. Key Responsibilities * Perform instrumentation and control maintenance, calibration, testing, fault diagnosis, and repair activities. * Support outage work scopes involving plant instrumentation and control systems. * Execute maintenance activities in accordance with approved procedures and quality requirements. * Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during outage operations. * Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately. * Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams. Essential Requirements * Previous outage experience within an operational Nuclear Power Plant environment. * Strong experience in instrumentation, calibration, testing, and control systems maintenance. * Experience working on nuclear primary-side systems and equipment. * Knowledge and experience of: * Feedwater (FW) Systems * Cooling Water (CW) Systems * Reactor Coolant Systems (RCS) * Air Operated Valves (AOV) * Motor Operated Valves (MOV) * Strong technical competency within instrumentation and control disciplines. * Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. * Strong understanding of nuclear safety and quality requirements. Working Conditions * 8 hours per day, 6 days per week. * Pre-outage working schedule of approximately 40–48 hours per week. * Outage periods may require increased working hours, with overtime available where applicable. * Accommodation, meals, and transportation provided on site. * Shared accommodation provided. Contract Details * Assignment duration of approximately 2 months. * Potential for extension based on project requirements. * Mobilisation anticipated from September 2026.
