Electrical Test Engineer Morecambe / Lancaster Salary: £45,000 We are looking for an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to join our team in the North West. This is a mobile role covering the Morecambe / Lancaster region. Key Responsibilities * Carry out electrical inspection, testing, fault finding, and repairs on LV distribution, power, lighting, and HVAC systems. * Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with SLAs, SFG20, BS7671, and EAWR requirements. * Respond to electrical faults and safety issues, ensuring minimal downtime. * Produce risk assessments, method statements, and supporting documentation for planned works. * Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and maintenance activities. * Liaise with clients, contractors, and colleagues to ensure effective service delivery. * Identify opportunities to improve system performance and reliability. Qualifications & Experience Essential: * City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent) * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations * City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent) * Proven experience in electrical testing, inspection, and fault finding Desirable: * Experience as an Electrical Test Engineer within industrial, utilities, manufacturing, or critical environments * Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Hours * Monday – Friday * 8:00am – 5:00pm * Overtime available If you're a qualified Electrical Test Engineer looking for your next opportunity, we'd like to hear from you
