Design Manager

Leading International Employer / Good expat benefits provided in country / Abundance of work in Belgium We are seeking a Design Manager that has led the Design & Engineering on MW Data Centres in Europe. Able to add value on site at execution stage and at pre-construction. This is a leadership role working in the SLT. Are you able to have meaningful conversations with clients, consultants and the supply chain. Working with the Project Director & Country Manager in Belgium. You will be able to pull apart the design and sequencing and spot risk before the execution stage starts. This comes from clear experience handling D/C's dealing with Major Tech companies. Working to provide solutions that fit the need of the project. Responsibilities * Point of contact for Design * Manage the supply chain and work with them in a collaborative approach * Manage design programs to align with construction sequencing * Co-ordinate between commercial, operations and safety teams * Review and improve when you can Requirements * Experience in Design Management / Technical Manager for a Buildings Main Contractor on relevant projects. * Clear communication skills * Strong technical awareness and knowledge of Data Centres * Comfortable working in a SLT , understand the environment and pressures that come with this.
