Marks Consulting Partners are recruiting a Housing Officer to join one of our Housing Association clients in South London on a temporary basis. What you'll be doing: * Providing housing and neighbourhood management services to tenants and care partners * Managing tenancy responsibilities including sign-ups, rent collection, income recovery, void turnaround and estate inspections * Investigating tenancy breaches including anti-social behaviour, hate crime and domestic abuse; taking robust action when required * Preparing and assisting with legal action cases; liaising with colleagues and solicitors as appropriate * Reporting and monitoring repairs using Pyramid housing management systems * Building positive working relationships with tenants, care providers, contractors and local authorities * Carrying out property inspections and homeliness visits; resolving issues and supporting safe, comfortable homes * Monitoring Fire Risk Assessments and ensuring identified actions are completed with care providers and colleagues * Being an active presence across your patch; providing visible, responsive housing support What you'll need: * Experience in housing, supported housing or neighbourhood management * Confident building positive relationships with tenants and partner agencies * Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently * Clear and professional communication skills * Commitment to inclusive, person-centred services * Full UK driving licence For further details please contact Sadie Haralambous at Marks Consulting Partners
