Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Islington Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience We are looking for a Policy & Procedure Lead this role will be: N1 1XR, 4 days remote, 1 day in the office The right candidate will: Lead the review, development, and maintenance of finance policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures to align with ERP system design and functionality (e.g. GL, AP, AR, P2P, Taxation, AI Plus). * Translate system configuration and business processes into clear, user‑focused procedural documentation and guidance. * Work closely with functional leads, SMEs, and the supplier to validate that documented procedures reflect agreed system design and operating models. * Support system testing, UAT, and operational readiness activities by ensuring procedures are tested, validated, and fit for live operation. * Maintain version control and governance over finance policies and procedural documentation throughout implementation and into BAU. * Act as a point of contact for policy and procedure‑related queries during transition, hypercare, and early BAU operation. * Prepare training materials relating to the implementation of AI Plus, including language prompts We require the following: * Experience drafting reports, documentation in a coherent, articulate format. * Experience supporting with project delivery. * Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
