Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Industry: Product Development Consultancy Salary: £55k (dependent on experience) Location: London An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading product development consultancy delivering innovative solutions across the healthcare, consumer, and industrial sectors. Working on a diverse range of technically challenging projects, you will take ownership of product development programmes from concept generation through to manufacture, combining hands-on engineering expertise with project leadership and client management responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: * Lead product development projects from concept through to manufacture * Manage client relationships and provide technical guidance throughout projects * Develop innovative mechanical design solutions for complex engineering challenges * Create 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation * Carry out engineering analysis, testing, and design validation activities * Manage project delivery to agreed timescales, budgets, and quality standards Key Skills & Experience: * Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent * Experience designing electro-mechanical systems, medical devices, mechanisms, and other complex high-tech products * Strong 3D CAD experience using SolidWorks * Proven experience developing products from concept through to manufacture * Practical workshop skills – prototyping and testing * Experience with engineering analysis tools such as FEA and CFD is a must * Strong project management and client-facing skills If you're looking to join a business that combines technical excellence, creativity, and innovation while working on a wide variety of challenging product development projects, then apply with a copy of your CV
