Sales Executive


Business Development Executive Overview We are seeking a motivated, commercially driven, and proactive individual to join a growing sales team focused on expanding a portfolio of international business events. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities across a range of industry sectors and engaging with senior decision-makers from organisations of varying sizes. Salary & Benefits * Basic salary: £30,000–£35,000 (dependent on experience) * Uncapped commission structure with monthly payments and performance bonuses * Year 1 On-Target Earnings (OTE): approximately £60,000 / Longer-term earning potential: £75,000–£100,000+ Key Responsibilities * Contribute to the commercial success of a portfolio of international B2B events. * Identify, develop, and maintain a pipeline of prospective exhibitors, sponsors, and commercial partners. * Generate revenue through the sale of exhibition space, sponsorship opportunities, and related event products. * Execute consistent outbound sales activity and work towards individual and team revenue targets. * Maintain accurate records and manage opportunities within the company's CRM system. * Engage with prospective clients through a combination of cold outreach, networking, referrals, and existing relationships. * Build and manage relationships with both new and existing clients to maximise value and event participation. * Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing and operations, to support successful event delivery. * Provide a high level of customer service throughout the sales cycle. Candidate Profile Essential Requirements * Previous sales experience in either a business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-consumer (B2C) environment. * Strong communication and relationship-building skills. * Highly motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented. * Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers. * Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced sales environment.
