Commercial Plumber / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Location: Solihull, West Midlands Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum + Overtime + Call Out Allowance Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Call Out: 1 in 4 Rota Are you an experienced Commercial Plumber or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable role with a leading Facilities Management company? We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Plumber / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a prestigious retail and commercial site in Solihull. Working as part of the on-site engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical, plumbing, and building services systems. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical and plumbing systems * Diagnose faults and undertake repairs to pumps, motors, valves, bearings, and associated plant equipment * Maintain and repair commercial plumbing systems, pipework services, and water systems * Service and maintain HVAC equipment and mechanical building services plant * Carry out repairs, replacements, and installations of mechanical equipment, fixtures, and fittings * Complete maintenance reports and update CAFM systems accurately * Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and compliance standards * Liaise with contractors, site teams, and stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery * Maintain plant rooms and engineering areas to a high standard Essential Requirements * NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, or Building Services * Previous experience as a Commercial Plumber, Maintenance Plumber, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, or Building Services Engineer * Strong experience working with: * Commercial plumbing systems * Mechanical pipework services / Pumps, motors, valves, and bearings * HVAC plant and equipment * General building services maintenance * Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance within commercial environments Salary & Benefits * Up to £39,000 basic salary + call out allowance * Overtime opportunities available * Company mobile phone and tablet * Ongoing training and professional development * Support with industry-recognised qualifications * Career progression opportunities * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Long-term job security within a growing Facilities Management business Apply Now If you are a Commercial Plumber, Maintenance Plumber, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, HVAC Engineer, or Building Services Engineer looking for your next opportunity in Solihull, apply today for immediate consideration
