Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC) Location: Oxford Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 45 Hours Per Week Earn Up to £60,000 Per Year Basic Salary: £48,656.73 (Including Standby Payment) With paid travel time, overtime, and a 1-in-4 call-out rota (Double Time weekends / Time and a Half weekdays), earnings are realistically circa £60,000 per year. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and servicing across a range of commercial HVAC systems in retail environments. Key Responsibilities * PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple sites * Service and repair boilers, pumps, fans, AHUs and FCUs * Complete minor installations and alterations * Fault-find and report non-repairable issues with recommendations * Order parts in line with procedures * Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards Essential Requirements * NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in HVAC or equivalent * ACS Commercial Gas (COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, CDGA1, TPCP1/1A) * Full UK Driving Licence * Experience in commercial PPM and reactive maintenance * Ability to work at height and in confined spaces * PDA/mobile system experience Desirable * Domestic ACS (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1) * F-Gas Category 1 (2079) * 18th Edition (BS7671) Call-Out Rota * 1-in-4 on-call rota * Double Time weekends * Time and a Half weekdays A great opportunity offering stability, strong earning potential, and long-term progression.
